Digital Dirt Continuing Legal Education Seminars

The Digital Dirt CLE is a six-hour continuing legal education seminar on trends and legal developments relating to computer forensics. The intended audience is attorneys, law enforcement, and computer forensic examiners, but it is also open to members of the general public.

The Digital Dirt CLE covers the following topics:

  1. Introduction to Computer Concepts and Forensic Terminology
  2. Trends in Data Creation, Transmission, and Storage
  3. Developments in Forensic Hardware and Software
  4. Forensic Search and Seizure: Overview of Procedure and Law
  5. Recent Federal and State Computer Forensic Cases (Jurisdiction-Specific)
  6. The Ethics of Electronic Data (1 hour Ethics credit)

The next Digital Dirt CLE will be held on July 23, 2009 at the Westin Washington DC City Center, 1400 M Street NW, Washington, DC, from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
