Brief Summary:
Pursuant to a warrant, U.S. Customs Service agents seized computer equipment and data from Susan and Richard Hallock. No charges were filed, but the equipment was returned damaged and all data destroyed, resulting in the termination of Susan Hallock's computer business. Susan Hallock filed suit against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act and separately against the individual agents.
