2010

URS Corporation v. Isham, Civil Action No. 6:09-2955-JMC (D. S.C. 9-20-2010) — Defendant is alleged to have taken proprietary information from his former employer and used it for the benefit of a business competitor of plaintiff. Defendant objected to an order by the Court that he bear half the cost of a forensic examination of his computers. Defendant also argued that the use of the word "computers" meant that he had no obligation to allow inspection of external drives, removable storage, etc. The Court rejected both arguments.
